Set on the shores of Whiting Bay in Co. Waterford, Camelot enjoys sweeping views of the ocean, rolling beach dunes and the surrounding countryside, with breathtaking scenery framed from almost every window.
These views became the foundation of our interior architecture and design approach as we worked across every aspect of this 10,000 sq ft luxury coastal residence. Our vision was to combine the sophistication of a contemporary city home with the comfort and relaxed elegance of coastal living.
Working alongside the architecture, we helped shape a home centred around a private courtyard and a pool house overlooking the sea. Every space was designed around our clients' lifestyle, creating a home for relaxation, entertaining and bringing family and friends together.
Generous formal and informal living areas, intimate breakout spaces and carefully planned bedroom suites ensure comfort throughout. Floor-to-ceiling glazing maximises the spectacular views, while the seamless connection to the loggia and pool house enhances indoor-outdoor living.
A carefully layered lighting scheme combines architectural and decorative lighting with smart controls, creating warmth and atmosphere from day to night.
Throughout the interiors, a calm palette of natural tones reflects the surrounding landscape. Rich timber, brass detailing, bespoke joinery and refined finishes introduce warmth, texture and understated luxury while allowing the views to remain the focal point.
The bespoke kitchen combines oak, copper, marble, glass and soft grey finishes beneath soaring ceilings. An L-shaped dining banquette overlooks the Celtic Sea, while the adjoining dining and living spaces flow effortlessly together for entertaining.
Our design extended throughout the principal suite, guest accommodation, cinema, bar, pool house and every bathroom, creating a cohesive aesthetic throughout the home.
To complete the project, we provided the full interior styling and accessories, delivering a beautifully finished home ready for our clients to arrive, unpack and simply relax.
