The owners of Ireland’s leading hotel group tasked us with the full restoration, design, and interior fit-out of a beautiful, historic cottage on the grounds of County Dublin’s most prestigious Castle estate. This luxury accommodation now caters to the venue’s premium wedding and event clientele, offering a serviced retreat for wedding parties. The private lodge accommodates up to eight people and is fully serviced by the five-star hotel team.
Original sash windows, unique external shutters, ornate wood panelling and pebble-dashed walls grace the exterior. Inside, period wooden beams, original wood and tiled floors, and low ceilings were carefully preserved. Retaining this old-world charm while marrying it with a world-class interior fit-out has resulted in a truly unique accommodation experience for hotel guests.
Adding to the special memories that accompany a great wedding, the completed four-bedroom, country-classic lodge with self-catering services now includes a magnificent beauty room. This private salon is dedicated to the bridal or groom party in the days leading up to a wedding. The finished design features salon-length mirrors, a dress podium, a hair and nail bar, and open wardrobes, providing a practical and stunning backdrop for wedding-day photography.
All rooms have been finished to a five-star standard, befitting the hospitality experiences guests have come to expect. Quality, comfort and relaxation shaped every design choice, with luxury contract fabrics and fittings used throughout in a chic, classic-contemporary style.
We provided full interior architectural and furnishing specification services, including kitchen, bathroom and lighting design. All furniture was designed and manufactured in Ventura’s workshops. Our team delivered complete project management, scheduling, production, installation and final turn-key styling.
