Nestled within the majestic grounds of Carton Demesne, this 7,000 sq ft luxury residence is set amidst ancient woodland in Co. Kildare. Arlene McIntyre Design was proud to deliver the full interior architecture and interior design for this exceptional home.
The project evolved through a gradual, carefully considered redesign, with a strong focus on the home’s principal spaces. The ground floor living areas and the upstairs open plan level were reimagined to the highest standards of luxury, comfort, and functionality, ensuring a seamless balance between refined design and everyday living.
As part of the redesign, the original kitchen, which was previously located on the upper level, was relocated to the ground floor. This strategic decision allowed the upstairs to be transformed into the ultimate entertaining space for our client, creating a generous open plan environment designed for hosting, gathering, and enjoying the home’s elevated woodland views.
Every detail was thoughtfully curated to frame and enhance the home’s panoramic views of the surrounding ancient woodland, resulting in a timeless and refined retreat that feels both grounded in its setting and quietly sophisticated.
The interior architecture and interior design were conceived and delivered by Arlene McIntyre Design, with the full interior fit out executed by Ventura Interiors, whose craftsmanship and attention to detail ensured the design intent was realised to the highest standard.
